Where Have The Last Six Months Gone?
Well here we are – summer is over, the kids are back to school (yay!) and in a few short days it will be Labor Day weekend. I swear it was just the beginning of March and I was getting ready to walk down the aisle and marry, my now husband, Omari. In the blink of an eye, we had a beautiful wedding surrounded by loved ones, began preparing to relocate to Texas (and finally incorporated both of our household goods into one), found out we are expecting a baby, moved across the country to Texas, unpacked and spent quite a bit of time getting settled in our new home (while I struggled with the fatigue that comes along with the first trimester of pregnancy), and the list goes on. You get the picture. It has been a whirlwind six months and they have flown by!
Now that I have been feeling full of energy for quite some time now, I have been giving a lot of thought on how to pick back up with the content supporting my coaching business. I came to this final conclusion – I am a professional woman juggling too much while working on my balance and joy JUST LIKE YOU! I’m also not one to make excuses or avoid addressing the obvious, so here it is – I have been doing the best I could and although I have continued with life and my coaching business (mainly just seeing my one on one clients), I just didn’t have it in me to do a whole lot more. Now that things have changed and I’m feeling more settled and in a bit of a routine again, I am looking forward to providing you with more and consistent written blogs, Facebook live events and social media posts. I have also decided that although they are related in many ways, I am going to focus those efforts into two major areas, if you will. First will be for you – professional women who juggle too much. My content will continue to focus on finding balance and joy. Second, will be sharing this new chapter of my life – being newly married and pregnant at 42 (with my third child) and everything that comes along with that.
Soooooo, feel free to ride along with me for one, or both, of those topics – it is completely up to you. And as always if there is something specific you want me to cover or are interested in, just ask. Feel free to send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or reach out to me via my Facebook and/or Instagram page(s), all of which are linked below. I look forward to hearing from you! Here’s to the next six months.
